Of course, EvaDesign will put appropriate meta keywords and descriptions on your site for the search engines to index and submit your web address to them but there is much more you can do.

Publicise your web in as many places as possible.

For example:
  Remember to add your website address to all paperwork and advertising.
  Always include a signature file in your e-mails which includes a link back to your web site. Placing a logo will tempt a viewer to visit.
  Exchange links with your competitors or with someone selling a complimentary product.
  Advertise in local business listings both on paper and on the internet.
List in the Yellow Pages - on-line and on paper.
  Webrings are not for everyone but they can filter customers to your site.

Originally the web was implemented to facilitate the expeditious and free exchange of information.
That is the key. People are still drawn to free information. So what can you provide, in addition to information about your product/business, that might draw surfers to your site?
For example; instructions/ideas on how to use your product, links to useful relevant sites, etc.

Have patience. It takes time for all these efforts to filter to your customers and result in increased sales.
Remember the term ' web' is a very apt analogy. Over a period of time you will find your site acquires more and more links as people with an interest in your concerns put links to your pages on their sites.

In addition, there are many sources on the web with advice on marketing your site.
